# Terms of Service

**Effective Date: August 28, 2025**

## 1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the E-Formasi Application, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. This application is operated by the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

## 2. Description of Service

E-Formasi is a government application system designed for:
- Functional position applications and management
- Document submission and verification
- Application status tracking
- Institutional coordination and approval processes

## 3. Authorized Use

### Permitted Uses:
- Submitting legitimate functional position applications
- Accessing your own application data and status
- Uploading required documents and certificates
- Communicating with authorized personnel

### Prohibited Uses:
- Unauthorized access to other users' data
- Submitting false or fraudulent information
- Attempting to breach system security
- Disrupting system operations or availability
- Commercial use without explicit permission

## 4. User Responsibilities

Users must:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
- Use the system in accordance with applicable laws
- Report security incidents or suspicious activities
- Keep contact information current and accurate

## 5. Data Accuracy and Verification

- Users are responsible for the accuracy of submitted information
- False information may result in application rejection or legal action
- Document verification is conducted by authorized personnel
- Additional documentation may be requested during processing

## 6. System Availability

We strive to maintain system availability but do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted access to the service
- Error-free operation at all times
- Immediate processing of all requests
- Compatibility with all devices or browsers

## 7. Intellectual Property

- All system content is owned by the Indonesian government
- Users retain ownership of their submitted documents
- System use does not grant rights to reproduce government content
- Unauthorized copying or distribution is prohibited

## 8. Privacy and Data Protection

- User data is protected according to our Privacy Policy
- Information is used solely for legitimate government purposes
- Data access is restricted to authorized personnel only
- Security measures are implemented to protect user privacy

## 9. Limitation of Liability

The Ministry of Home Affairs is not liable for:
- Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
- Data loss due to user error or system failures
- Delays in application processing due to external factors
- Third-party actions affecting system performance

## 10. Termination

We reserve the right to:
- Suspend accounts for policy violations
- Terminate access for security reasons
- Modify or discontinue services with notice
- Remove inappropriate content or submissions

## 11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by:
- Indonesian law and regulations
- Government service delivery standards
- Public administration principles
- Data protection and privacy laws
